A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 Receives Confirmed Release Date: Campaign Photos Inside

After official photos hit the internet last week, A Ma Maniere has confirmed the release of the Air Jordan 1 collaboration with a set drop date.

Like previous collaborations, the A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 came with a story to tell. The latest collaboration from the Whitaker Group brand is inspired by the everyday lives of Black people, with the sneaker as “a symbol of resilience in the face of adversity and a testament to the power of unity” which is further conveyed through the shoe’s “Airness”. With the insoles of the sneaker reading “Airness by A Ma Maniere for Air Jordan”, Airness represents an abundant aspect that lives in all of us and adds to greatness of the Black community.

Appearing in a colorway known as Sail/ Burgundy Crush, the sneaker combines the traditional details of the Air Jordan 1 model with luxurious updates. High quality cracked leather, a silky quilted lining, and snakeskin touches pose as splendid, admirable details of the latest collaboration by A Ma Maniere and the Jordan Brand. Not to mention, an inspirational quote of “Learning’s a gift, even when pain is your teacher” followed by Michael Jordan’s signature truly seals the deal on the ankle flap.

Apparel is also expected to accompany the sneaker as collegiate-sports style garments made an appearance in the brand’s campaign visuals. Pieces spotted included a varsity jacket, hoodie, t-shirt, jersey, and possibly much more.

The A Ma Maniere x Air Jordan 1 is set to arrive at amamaniere.com on Wednesday, November 24th at 11AM EST on a first come, first serve basis. Retail is $200. From November 15th to November 18th, you can set an appointment online for in-store raffle entries at eligible A Ma Maniere (Atlanta, DC, and Houston), APB (Columbia, Charleston, Greenville, Jacksonville, and Tallahassee), and Social Status (Charlotte, Pittsburgh in East Liberty and Downtonw, Raleigh, Atlanta, Houston, and Tampa) stores.
