Nike and Swarovski have been teaming up for quite some time now, dropping luxe collaborations of Air Max 97s, Dunks, and more with each dripped out in the Austrian jeweler’s iconic crystals. Now, the pairing will be tackling the Air Force 1 Low with a twist unlike their past takes on Nike models.
Right away, you cannot help but notice the shoe’s exterior which is taken over entirely with an intricately-designed overlay, instantly giving us major Comme des Garçons-couture vibes. The webbed covering drips over the sneaker completely adorned with Swarovski crystal studs along with screws, allowing the piece to be taken on or off depending on the wearer’s choice. Once you peel back the embellished layer, the classic Air Force 1 is revealed in its traditional leather upper and rubber sole.
The Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 is expected to release as a women’s exclusive and will be accompanied by a screwdriver tool as well. There is no confirmed release date nor price yet, but you can expect more details soon.
Update 11/18: The Swarovski x Nike Air Force 1 with reflective crystals is set to drop on December 2nd on SNKRS for $450 in Triple White and Triple Black.
