If you haven’t heard about the Don’t Be Mad x New Balance 992 sneaker, then you are truly missing out. This sneaker happens to be on the most anticipated drops for Valentine’s Day and All-Star Weekend. Despite the drop date and color combo, this sneaker is not a Valentine’s Day shoe. Actually, it is a spin on the Joe Fresh Goods motto of “No Emotions Are Emotions” which really means “let your work do the talking”. Essentially, the sneaker is meant to convey that of the human heart, incorporating colors such as red and pink to symbolize the vessel and teal as a pop of color (maybe for the veins).
Just yesterday, JFG revealed a sneak peek at women’s sizing for the sneaker which was worn by a fellow tweeter. So, yes ladies! We will be getting our own sizing in addition to men’s sizing. The key is going to be getting our hands on these sneakers though as there has been much talk about the sneaker releasing exclusively in Chicago. But, keep your fingers crossed because we are hoping for an online release too. More details for the sneaker will be available as JFG will be clearing up unanswered release questions on Monday. As far as we know, the sneaker is set to release next weekend at 12 CST (JFG’s normal release time).
Update: The DBM x New Balance 992 sneaker will be retailing for $260. Joe Fresh Goods dropped the address for the Chicago pop-up on social media yesterday, so tap in if you are in the city this weekend.
