Pharrell Williams has been teasing his Instagram followers all week with a new upcoming collaboration with Adidas. Just yesterday, he provided us with a more in-depth video of the campaign which is dubbed as “Now Is Her Time“, celebrating women empowerment and women’s rights featuring strong female figures and others who have their backs.
The latest campaign captures the perspectives of women and those who ally with them through use of a diverse cast of creatives and activists including Syd, Black Lives Matter’s Patrisse Cullors, Period.org’s Nadya Okamoto, Reggie Yates, Iddris Sandu, Keala Naihe, Sana Azim, Art Mom Project‘s Tyra Mitchell, Style Saves‘ Isabela Rangel Grutman, Sara Cummings, Kadija Diawara, Sheena Cain, and Sophia Parker.
“Now Is Her Time” will also feature a redesigned collection of Solar HU, BYW, NMD, and Adilette shoes in vibrant colors featuring slogans such as “GRATITUDE/EMPATHY,” “BREATHE/THOUGHTS” and “INFINITE/SPECIES” further championing the women empowerment movement and aesthetic of the campaign. The collection will also consist of apparel for men, women, and children which is all set to release on August 31st and September 1st (sneakers).
