JJJJound and New Balance are continuing their ongoing partnership with the release of a navy-toned 990v4 sneaker.

Back in August, the brand teased a photo of the navy-saturated shoes along with a caption that read “JJJJJ NB FW2021”. Now, the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 sneaker is set to arrive this week at the Montreal-based design studio.

The New Balance 990v4 model proceeds as the latest iteration to the iconic 990 sneaker, maintaining the running shoe’s historical minimalistic yet comfortable design while incorporating an improved sole and slight tweaks to the upper. Joining forces with JJJJound who is known for simple yet significant takes with sneaker collaborations, the joint 990v4 proves to be another perfect match made in heaven between the two brands.

The 990v4 is completed drowned in a deep navy color complimented by black accents on the sole, heel tab, lining, and cotton laces. Suede and mesh takeover the upper along with a 3M reflective New Balance “N” logo, adding a cool flashy detail to the relatively muted shoe. The recognizable JJJJound branding finds itself stamped on the heel tab and insoles as well as the second pair of toggle-equipped reflective laces.
The New Balance 990v4 Navy is set to drop this Thursday, October 14th at 12PM EST exclusively on jjjjound.com, priced at $265. The collaboration will release globally on Thursday, October 21st at New Balance in select countries.
