AMBUSH and NIKE Tap Into Tokyo’s Motocycle Culture in Latest Collection Featuring Apparel and the Dunk High ‘Flash Lime’ Sneaker

Back in July, Yoon Ahn previewed the upcoming Nike Dunk High “Flash Lime” sneaker on Nike’s SNKRS live with Karrueche Tran. It was also rumored the shoe would be joined by apparel as apart of a partnership with Nike for the 2021 Olympics. Now, official pics of the sneaker are here along with looks at the accompanying apparel collection.

Just in time for the big games, the upcoming AMBUSH x Nike collection taps into Tokyo’s most vibrant cultural elements. The two combine notions of sport and style taking fans on a ride like no other with pieces inspired by Japanese motorcycle culture. The capsule collection also nods to the bright lights of Tokyo and notions of the popular Japanese animation known as anime, following an electric color palette including pink, neon green, and black. Clearly presented in styles that mimic a need-for-speed, pieces from the collection included a vest, short sleeve t-shirt, crop top, motorcycle jacket, motorcycle pants, and a cap.

Additionally, a new fourth colorway to the AMBUSH x Nike Dunk High will also be presented in a bright neon color known as “Flash Lime”. Since its first color combination was displayed to the world of sneakers, the collaborative Dunk High sneaker has always honed elements of Japan’s common modes of transportation, with its extended Swoosh meant to resemble bike spikes and to give the impression of movement.

The AMBUSH x Nike collection is scheduled to drop on Friday, July 30 via Nike’s SNKRS app through draw. Apparel will range from $50 to $250 with the Nike Dunk High “Flash Lime” priced at $180.
