Back in March, Foot Locker made the grand announcement that Melody Ehsani would be taking over their women’s business as their first ever creative director. During the news, it was also revealed that a project from both Ehsani and Foot Locker would arrive sometime in June. As promised, first looks at the ucpoming capsule collection are here accompanied by a virtual event.

The soon-come collection will feature unisex apparel inspired by sports, specifically basketball, as well as nature and the environment. Melody Ehsani shares a huge love for basketball as evident in her stories surrounding playing the sport as a child and her IG photos of her playing on the court in present day. The sportswear collection follows a blue and purple color palette meant to convey aspects of nature and temperature. An organza track jacket and pants set appear in a thermal design to illustrate how people connect around the world and individual responses to changes in environment. Other pieces from the collection include a sports bra, biker shorts, socks, shoelaces, Ball Vision tee and short set, and a fleece crewneck t-shirt and short set.

As a pre-celebratory festivity, Foot Locker and Melody Ehsani will also be launching the “No More Next” virtual festival via Youtube Live on Saturday, June 5that 1PM ESt. During the virtual event, attendees will experience conversations between the streetwear’s trailblazers like Elle Clay, Don C , and Renee Montgomery. Additionally, participants will also get the chance to win the first drop of the Melody Ehsani x Foot Locker collection.

While moving discussions will be held, Foot Locker will also be taking this time to tune into consumer feedback to determine where a Melody Ehsani x Foot Locker pop-up shop will be held. As stated during the announcement of Ehsani’s new role with the company, these pop-ups will be held in specific cities allowing consumers to shop exclusive collections a week prior to the release to the general public.

You can catch the Melody Ehsani x Foot Locker apparel and accessories collection on Thursday, June 10 at 12PM EST globally in-store and online at Foot Locker. Prices will range from $10 to $80 with sizes expanding up to 2X. For more information about the No More Next Fest, tune in here.
