The women’s platform known as Girls Are Awesome and adidas are joining forces yet again. The Copenhagen-based and platform was founded in 2016 by two fathers striving to create a better, equal opportunistic future for their daughters. Backed by three pillars of community, brand and impact, Girls Are Awesome pushes for gender equality and proper female representation through fun, engaging activities that push the envelope and inspire change. Now, the branded platform is bringing its beliefs into footwear with adidas which is set to release in March also known as Women’s History Month.
This is not the first time that adidas and Girls Are Awesome have linked up for a collaboration either. Back in April of 2020, the two joined forces for collection of apparel and updated Superstar sneakers. This time, adidas and GAA will be releasing three Forum models including the Forum 84 High ($150), Forum Low ($100) and Forum Triple ($150). Additionally, this particular joint project will follow a color palette of Core White, black and Purbea. Each sneaker features noteworthy details like fuzzy sherpa fabric, striped prints and a repetition of the GAA logo.
