Cactus Plant Flea Market is now deemed as one of the leading sources for modern streetwear fashion. They have teamed up with celebrities like Kid Cudi and even other brands like Dover Street Market. On Tuesday, they have teamed up with the powerhouse brand, Nike, for the Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Air VaporMax 2019 sneaker.

Sneaker heads are calling this collab one of the best sneaker releases of the year. Why? Well, let’s start with the fact that this is Cactus Plant Flea Market’s first collaborative shoe and it was done with Nike. I think that is enough said as Nike is one of the biggest sneaker companies on global scale. Secondly, the sneaker is actually a women’s VaporMax sneaker, created by Cynthia Lu who is the designer behind the CPFM brand. The women’s sneaker market has quite the positive outlook as more women are seeking comfort and quality in their shoe choice and sneakers seem to meet those standards. Last year, women’s sneakers sales were up by 37%. Nike has even expressed wanting to cater more to its female customers which has been evident with its Off-White and Serena Williams collection and its World Cup collection. Claps for Nike and Cactus Plant Flea Market for making sneakers for the gals out there!
The sneakers stays true to CPFM’s raw, deconstructed vibes with the stitched detailing, the imperfect creation of the Nike Swoosh, and the doubled-eye smiley face. It also includes Nike’s traditional elements with “Just Do It” in pealed, puffed lettering and the epic Swoosh on the sides. Retailing originally for $250, this futuristic sneaker is available on Goat and StockX. A final drop of the show will be released at Dover Street Market in London on May 16.
