Over the weekend, Pharrell Williams held his first music festival in his hometown, Virginia Beach, called Something In The Water. The Oceanfront board was filled with cool activities provided by Adidas, Timberland, BBC, and other popular brands. There were also panels and opportunities for upcoming entrepreneurs to get their businesses off the ground. Despite the first day’s inclement weather, the festival surely did make up with Saturday’s superstar lineup. Musical acts included SZA, Travis Scott, and Diddy along with a surprise appearance from Tyler the Creator and Jay-Z. There was also a sighting of the Queen Bey backstage bopping to her husband’s set. Sunday’s lineup was just as lit as Saturday’s with performances by Jhené Aiko, Pusha T, Chris Brown, and Leikeli47. Pharrell Williams placed did more than just put on a great festival. He provided a safe beach weekend for festival goers, placing Virginia Beach’s annual college beach weekend in a positive light. Also, Something In The Water was more than just music…it was an experience of a lifetime.



Nonetheless, Something in the Water was a huge success backed by high appraisals from the locals and people from around the country.
