Nipsey Hussle’s legacy continues as his brand The Marathon Clothing TMC, plans to collaborate with PUMA again for their newest and second collection of 2021 known as “The Hussle Way: Miami Story”. Fashion stylist Groovey Lew was tapped to design the upcoming collection as he has worked alongside Hussle on several looks throughout the years prior to his passing. The fashion icon pays respect to the city of Miami by capturing its tropical, laidback aesthetics with this latest PUMA collection.

The PUMA x TMC “Hussle Way: Miami Story” will serve as the first of five capsule collections for the “Hussle Way” series, which will pay homage to select major cities. The Miami Story collection will include five pieces such as shirts, pants and Bermuda shorts plus a sneaker. The featured sneaker will be the classic PUMA x TMC Future Rider, priced at $90, appearing in an all-white colorway stamped with “The Marathon” on the shoe’s aglet and protruding block detail.

Groovey Lew’s inspiration for the collection comes from the pure relationship between him and Nipsey, designing and styling several ensembles for him for performances and appearances such as the Grammys. Lew also references Miami’s culture in the 80s and the city’s hip hop influence. The stylist opts to capture what Miami is best known for: its white sandy beaches complete with crystal blue waters. The capsule follows a color palette of white and shades of blues in order to highlight the visual essence of Miami.
Sisters and models India Love and Crystal Westbrooks lead as the faces of the PUMA x TMC “Miami Story” campaign.
The PUMA x TMC “Miami Story” collection will be available on Friday, August 13th via the PUMA website, PUMA’s NYC flagship store, and select retailers including The Marathon Clothing Store. Prices will range from for $45 to $90.
