Serving as one of the hottest releases dropping this week, Aleali May‘s fourth Jordan collaboration is scheduled to drop this Thursday, April 22nd. Anticipation for the release of the joint Air Jordan 1 Zoom Comfort sneaker has been building since leaking back in February. Shortly after the cat got out the bag with the sneakers, it was revealed that apparel would accompany the shoes as well.
Just last week, May confirmed the official release date along with the inspiration behind this particular collaboration with the Jordan family. As a homage to her elementary school’s drill team and her coach, May channeled elements like the team’s colors and athletic wear when designing the “Califia” sneaker and apparel collection.
Of course, the Aleali May x Air Jordan “Califia” collection will be offered in women’s sizing with the sneaker extending to a size 16.5 and the apparel ranging up up to 2XL.
