Cactus Plant Flea Market, led by Cynthia Lu, dropped a promotional video yesterday for a new collection with Nike which dropped today at 9AM on the Cactus Plant Flea Market website.
Cactus Planet Flea Market gained global popularity with their “Lucky Me I See Ghost” sweater for Kanye West and Kid Cudi’s KIDS SEE GHOST album. In 2020, CPFM released the highly-anticipated Nike Dunk Low Swarovski in Pure Plantinum and Sage Green.
Directed by White Trash Tyler, the 5-minute video features stylist Bloody Osiris, 12-year old rapper Bouba Savage, photographer RAYSCORRUPTEDMIND, and artist Father Steve to name a few.
In the commercial, we see the gang go to a movie theater wearing pieces like a jersey, polo shirt, and orange hoodie from the collaborative collection.
The group watches a film called “Go Flea” which recreates a scene from the famous 1994 movie Forrest Gump where Forrest, played by Tom Hanks, runs across the country. Cactus Planet remakes the scene with Bloody Osiris wearing the CPFM x Nike MX Rave Pant and orange CPFM x Nike Sheobox Heavyweight Hooded Pullover.
Prior to the release, many celebrities popped up on the ‘gram rocking pieces from the collection. Last week, KNC Beauty founder Kristen Noel Crawley posted a picture on Instagram of the Cactus Planet x Nike “Just Do It” polo shirt. Rapper Big Sean, DJ Venus X and AMBUSH’s Yoon Ahn were also spotted in pieces from the collection, providing a hyped sneak peek of the joint collection.
The Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike collection includes the $250 Shoebox Heavyweight Hooded Pullover, $150 S/S (short sleeve) Green Jersey, $135 Long Sleeve Polo, $100 L/S (long sleeve) Grey Jersey and $100 MX Rave Pant. The Cactus Plant Flea Market x Nike Dunk Low Swarovski also appeared on the site at the beginning of the launch but is no longer available. Additionally, the polo shirt is sold out but other pieces are still available in select sizes on the site.
