In December of 2020, it was revealed that Nike will be incorporating Nike Dunks in its Nike By You program. Formerly known as Nike iD, Nike By You allows wearers to customize their own Nike sneakers using select colors, prints, fabrics, and even personalized text. The Nike Dunks were actually apart of the Nike iD program before, so this technically serves as a return just under a newly named initiative.
This comes as no surprise after Nike’s stellar Dunk rollout in 2020, it is simply just getting better. To prevent users from duplicating the Dunks released and collegiate colorways, Nike made use of colorblocking which is nothing new for its By You program. On the bright side, users can choose from dope fabric selections like suede and pebbled leather when customizing their Dunks.
You can already start designing the Nike Dunk Low 365 By You here on Nike, but you will be able to purchase your creation at a later date. The sneakers say “coming soon” on the Nike site. Rumors speculate that the shoes will be available for customization sometime this month.
