In the midst of this week’s past events, we wanted to bring some positive vibes and get you guys hip to a new cozy brand we discovered, Working Woman. Working Woman is a contemporary brand that provides ultra-comfy staples for hardworking women that stay on their grind. The brand is headed by a Black woman by the name of Chioma Akaolisa who is also a photographer and videographer based in Atlanta, Georgia.

During this week’s events, Working Woman still managed to release their latest drop while also donating to the causes for justice. On Monday, the brand announced that it would be dropping new goods in addition to offering 50% off purchases through June 12th. Also, five percent of sales will be going towards the families of George Floyd, Ahmaud Arbery, and Breonna Taylor who have all passed due to injustices by police and sparked protests throughout the world for peace and justice.
Pieces from the latest drop truly mimic the essence of the brand, “everyday comfort basics for the #wrkingwman“. Tops, sweats, shorts, and pullovers carry the words “Working Woman” in modern fonts, simple graphics, and cool hues like lavender and stone blue. Prices range from a $35 Essential Logo Hat to a $55 Happy To Work Tee (I already copped the tee, I couldn’t resist).

There is also an extension of the brand called Sustainable Woman which focuses on environmentally friendly apparel and accessories. While there are currently no items available for the extensive brand, the bio says “Summer 2020” so we can expect goods very soon!
If you’re a woman that’s constantly grinding and working hard, then this the brand for you. It doesn’t get any better than with cozy items made for women by a woman. Shop the brand’s collection here and receive 50% off with the code “GIMME50” from now through June 12th. If funds are little tight at the moment, we still encourage you to support the brand simply with a follow on IG: @wrkingwman.
I love everything about this. 💓
